Ali to avoid early marriage of his sister Narghes has to pay a debt. The story takes its cue from the sadly real condition in many countries of the world, including Iran, set of the film, to the detriment of children: precocious workers, victims of arranged marriages often for money, members of disadvantaged families who do not protect them and who they often expose them to violence and exploitation.

Director Biography – Maryam Rahimi

Maryam is an Iranian born writer, screenwriter and director. She works alongside Rai Cinema with her work “Yalda”. She has won many national and international awards for her works. She won Mibact MigrArt from the ministry of culture in Italy in 2016 for her short film “Mare Nostrum”.
